Colton’s 2025 Elk Hunt: A Raffle Winner’s Unforgettable Adventure

Sometimes, all it takes is a little luck—and for Colton, that luck came with the purchase of just one raffle ticket. Against the odds, his name was drawn as the winner of our 2025 elk hunt giveaway, setting the stage for an adventure he and his dad, Brad, would never forget.

Eager to make the most of this opportunity, Colton and Brad arrived several days before the hunt to help scout. Together, we spent time glassing and evaluating numerous bulls, finally settling on a target bull that guide Dylan Chepin and myself had found a week prior. After re-locating the bull the evening before the hunt, a solid game plan was formed and the anticipation built as opening day approached and our preparation paid off.

On the very first morning of the hunt, Colton was able to harvest a fantastic bull elk. The excitement of the moment was matched only by the gratitude he felt, especially with his father by his side to share in the experience. It was a true testament to the power of preparation, teamwork, and a little bit of luck.

We’re honored to have played a part in Colton’s hunt and to witness such a memorable experience. Lots of laughs and good stories were shared around the camp fire with our new friends.
